Salman Khan is one of the most famouse film actor in India. His original name is Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan and born in 27th december of 1965.

His debut film is Biwi Ho To Aisi in 1988. In 1989 he won the filmfare award for the Best Debut Actor for the movie Maine Pyar Kiya which was his first commercial hit.

As said above, he started his acting career in 1988 from the film Biwi Ho To Aisi. In the very next year he won the Best Debut Actor Award for the movie Maine Pyar Kiya.

In 1991, his films done very well in box-office which were Sanam Bewafa, Patthar Ke Phool, and Saajan. In this Saajan was one of the biggest hit in that year in which he acted along with Sanjay Dutt, another leading actor.

Some of his other hits are Karan Arjun, Judwaa, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hum Saath-Saath Hai, Biwi No.1, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, No Entry, and Partner.

In 1998, he won the Best Supporting Role Award for the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. After then he became one of the biggest superstar and the most prominent leading actor in the entire Hindi Film Industry.

He born as the eldest son of Salimkhan and Salma Khan. His father well known for his screenwriting. Salman's step mother, Helen also is an actress. His brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan are also actors. His sister Alvira married to film director Atul Agnihotri.
